    Are you interested in attending the University of Georgia or the University of South Carolina? Admissions representatives from these two colleges will be on site for a question and answer panel on Tuesday, March 10th at 6:00 PM in the Freeman Library.
  • Freeman Family Culture Day
    Freeman Family Culture Day is Thursday, March 12th from 4:15-6:30 p.m. Hosted by the Equity Ambassadors, there will be performances by LatinX Motion, Step Team, Tri-M, food by the World Language Students, portraits and crafts by the National Art Honor Society, student speakers, a fashion show, and it will end with the HOLI festival of colors. Please come out and enjoy an afternoon of celebrating all the diverse cultures represented at Freeman. Don’t forget to bring a white t-shirt for the color celebration.
  • World Languages Week Phrase That Pays
    Celebrate World Languages Week with the Phrase That Pays!The Today’s Phrase that Pays is in (Monday-French) (Tuesday-Latin) (Wednesday-Dari) (Thursday-Spanish) (Friday- Hebrew). This phrase means “Languages are the home of the heart.” Say the phrase to every teacher or staff member you see today. Three teachers have a prize waiting for you! Good luck!!
  • FBLA Regional Competition
    Congratulations to Miranda L and Natasha R for taking 1st and 2nd in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Regional competition for Business Law. Not to be outdone, Brannen M and Garrett A also earned 1st and 2nd place honors for Economics!
    That made DSF a perfect 4 for 4 with all participants advancing to the FBLA State competition in mid-April. Fantastic job Miranda, Natasha, Brannen, and Garrett and best of luck at States!
  • Orchestra
    Congratulations to ALL of our Orchestra students on their performances at District Orchestra Assessments last Thursday. Both the Concert Orchestra and the Advanced Orchestra earned a rating of Superior on their stage performances from the judges. Additionally, both orchestras earned Superior ratings on their Sight Reading assessments. Congratulations!
  • Color Guard Spin Sessions
    Do you want to learn how to spin flags and rifle and learn how to dance? Come to Spin Sessions and learn what Color Guard and the Marching Rebel Brigade is all about! The next Spin Session is this Wednesday, March 11th, right after school in the band room. No experience is necessary!
