YAY MARYANN DIVINA! Maryann Divina, a history teacher at Douglas S. Freeman High School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently at Freeman.

Nominator Adrienne Feldman said, "She is so passionate about what she teaches and the kids learning. She is so caring, which provides a positive, warm and safe learning environment that nurtures students and their learning.
"She is always available to students who need extra help. She is also always available and quick to respond to parents. My daughter was in her class last year and she continues to be supportive to her and our family."
